Stadtoase Kolping is committed to sustainability, climate protection and resource conservation. We were the first hotel in Linz to be certified with the Austrian Ecolabel in 2009. We also regularly meet the requirements for re-certification.
We therefore also fulfil all the requirements for organising Green Meetings & Events. This means, among other things, that we use energy-efficient technology, have event rooms with daylight, have developed a comprehensive waste management concept and can also be reached in an environmentally friendly way (close to the railway station).
Over 170 years of social commitment

We still act according to the social values of our founder Adolph Kolping and support the following projects, for example: Upper Austrian Children's Cancer Aid, Mobile Paediatric Nursing, DÜK Association (roof over the head for the homeless), Rolling Angel Association, food donations to the Wärmestube Linz, street children in Peru, feeding the poor in Kenya
How can we finance these projects?
Through the help of our guests: 3 euros are generated when guests who stay for several days do not clean their rooms, 1 euro comes from every online review, 1 euro for every night in one of our company flats and 5 euros for bookings via our homepage. In addition, voluntary Kolping members are involved in various activities to fill the donation pots, for example by selling jams (which our guests receive for bookings via our website).
